Code-laborate

- Team Built, Full-Stack React Application -

Code-Laborate is an application that allows Development students to share their code and solve problems as a team! A user can log-in to the application and start posting problems on the board as well as replying to other user's posts with comments of their own.

This was a collaborative project built using HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript, React and Axios on the front end. We also built a custom API for the application using JavaScript, Express MongoDB, Mongoose, Passport, bcrypt and crypto, deployed to Heroku.

Check The Temp! is a simple weather app built in React that allows the user to check the weather in their area based on their Zipcode.

This app was built using HTML/CSS/SCSS, Bootstrap/React Bootstrap, Javascript, React.js, Axios and OpenWeatherMap API.

My beer-browser (Beans Love Beer) allows the user to search for a variety of beers provided by the punkAPI beer list.

This app was built using HTML/CSS, Bootstrap/React-Bootstrap, Javascript, React.js, Axios and the punkapi from punkapi.com

💪 Fit-Friends 💪

Fit-Friends is a simple and fun workout/fitness sharing app, bringing people together through the shared passion for staying fit! Users can create an account and begin their journey. Once signed in the user will be able to submit a workout of their own, sharing it with the community. They can also update and delete any workout they post. Outside of submitting their own workouts, a user is able to browse the already existing library of workouts by either category or by simply viewing all of the workouts. The category browsing in the index is made easy by convenient icons signifying the type of workout. As a user you are also able to collect your favorites by selecting the "add to favorites" option when viewing a single workout.

The client side of this application was built using HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript, React and Axios. The Fit-Friends API was built using Python, Django, Django Rest Framework and PostgreSQL, deployed to Heroku.

My-Momentum

My-Momentum is a clone of the popular Chrome extension 'Momentum'. This application was built as a SPA using 3rd party APIs (specifics listed in the GitHub Repo) and put my own spin on the format of the application itself. Enjoy!

bridget ceramics

This is a website built for a Chicago based potter named Bridget Doherty. As the admin, she is able to upload, edit and remove items to her store. Other users can then browse the store for the items posted and if they find something they like, they can sign-up/sign-in to an account where they can add items to their cart and then proceed to checkout and pay for their purchased items. Once an item is purchased, it will be designated as SOLD OUT on the store page as well as the individual item card.

The client side of this website was built using GitHub for version control, HTML/CSS, Javascript, React, Axios, Bootstrap and Stripe for the checkout and credit card integration. The API was built using Javascript, Express, MongoDB, StripeAPI and deployed to Heroku.
